AIMS was founded by Trapper John Tice, Jeff Headlee and Willy McQuillian.  We all had known each other for some time but it wasn't until several years ago that we realized that we all shared an interest that would soon evolve into AIMS.  We had all grown up in the Appalachian Region and for years had heard the stories repeated over and over by our families of unusual and mysterious sightings of creatures and beasts in the the Appalachian area.  All of us thought the stories to be nothing more than legends or folklore, even though the folks telling them seemed to believe they had some real substance.

Any skepticism we might have had in our early years disappeared for each of us in different ways but we all soon became believers when we had our own personal encounters with these creatures.  Our encounters were so vivid and real that soon, upon realizing that all three of us had similar experiences, we all pooled our interest and became somewhat obsessed with these mysterious sightings.

We know that many of you reading this will do so with a healthy dose of skepticism.  We understand.  We felt exactly the same way until we had our own personal experiences.  We would only ask that as you review our website and look into our organization that you keep an open mind.  If you do, we promise that you may experience something that will change your life and have you rethink what is real and not real in this world.
